CENTENIAL OLYMPIC PARK

The Blue Flame Lounge are the first black adult entertainment club in Atlanta. Through the legacy of The Blue Flame Lounge and the legendary Club 559 entertainers, waitresses and other staff members have continued their education and moved on to their career of choice.

MLK HOUSE/MUSEUM

  The King Library and Archives in Atlanta is the largest repository of primary source materials on Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and the American Civil Rights Movement in the world. The collection consists of the papers of Dr. King and those of the organization he co-founded, the Southern Christian Leadership Conference, as well as the records of 8 major civil rights organizations and of several individuals active in the Movement. The archives also include more than 200 oral history interviews with Dr. King’s teachers, friends, family and civil rights associates.

But this particular street was once known as "studio row." OutKast recorded its best work here with Mr. DJ, who still works out of the space with other hip-hop talent.

The CNN Center opened in 1976 as the Omni Complex, which was a development by Cousins Properties. The Omni Coliseum, an NBA and NHL arena directly connected to the Omni Complex, 

The CNN Center also houses an Omni Hotel and features a large atrium food court frequented by local business employees, tourists, event goers from State Farm Arena and Mercedes-Benz Stadium, and conference attendees from the Georgia World Congress Center. CNN's multi-channel output to the world is broadcast on large screens around the center.
